I decided to start Youth Educators Listening People because professionals can gain knowledge from a text book. However, they can only gain understanding by knowing the young people and their unique needs. I have found in the work I do and the life I’ve lived that people lose a lot of who young people are in the labels, terms, diagnosis’s, young people are given.   

Youth Educators Listening People exist to educate professionals on topics that can’t be learned from a text book. Our interactive speeches and workshops help put professionals in the shoes of young people accessing their services. This gives professionals the opportunity to learn how to make their services better as well as gain understanding into the lives of young people they serve.
